What's allowed on Local Connect

Local Connect is built on real people, real businesses, and real community. These guidelines keep the platform safe, authentic, and useful for everyone.

Nudity and sexual content

Local Connect is not a platform for sexual content.

  • No nudity, pornographic content, or sexually explicit imagery
  • No sexually suggestive content involving minors of any kind
  • No solicitation of sexual services or escorting

Child safety and exploitation

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content that endangers minors.

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly forbidden and reported to authorities
  • No grooming, sexualization, or trafficking of minors
  • No content promoting harm toward children

Scams, fraud, and fake listings

Trust matters. Misleading content is removed.

  • No fake products, fake businesses, or impersonation
  • No phishing, payment scams, or pyramid schemes
  • No misrepresentation of price, availability, or origin

Violence and harm

Content promoting violence is not allowed.

  • No threats, incitement, or glorification of violence
  • No graphic gore or content celebrating harm
  • No promotion of self-harm or suicide

Hate speech and harassment

Local Connect is for everyone.

  • No attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
  • No bullying, stalking, doxxing, or targeted harassment
  • No hateful slurs or dehumanizing language

Spam and inauthentic behavior

Keep things real.

  • No mass-posting, repetitive content, or engagement bait
  • No fake accounts, bots, or coordinated manipulation
  • No buying or selling of accounts, followers, or engagement

Illegal products and services

If it's illegal where you live, it's not allowed here.

  • No drugs, weapons, stolen goods, or counterfeit items
  • No regulated goods sold without proper authorization
  • No content that breaks local or international law

Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. Serious violations are reported to law enforcement.
